Cancer Journey 3/Surgery and Recovery 2021

I appreciated/loved the decor my sister put up for me. So did my medical team!

The picture above shows what my little sister put up in my recovery room. It was SO nice to have visuals of many, many encouraging Bible verses in what could have been a very dark place for me. The pictures helped bring some color into an otherwise drab room, too! I believe one of the nurses even said something about how important a good attitude is for recovery, and she knew seeing these would help me.
